Orlando, Florida - Holiday Itinerary

So I have just returned from 2 weeks in sunny Orlando, Florida.  There were 7 of us (4 adults, 3 teens) staying in a 4 bed villa with a pool on a complex.  For a group of people a villa usually works out cheaper than a few hotel rooms.

Our home for 2 weeks!

I know when you have not been to Florida before it can be daunting to work out what parks to do and just how much you can fit into 2 weeks.  I thought I would share with you a short summary of what we ended up getting up to on the 14 days we were in Florida this April - March 2015.  It does depend greatly on what time of year as to how busy the parks are.  Our trip clashed with USA Spring Break and UK half term so it was one of the busiest times.

The temperature was mostly in the mid to late 20's but it did creep up to 31c for a few days.

Thursday - Discovery Cove. Food inc.
Friday - Florida Mall shopping. Lunch in food court.
Saturday - Islands of Adventure. Lunch at Burger Digs in the Jurassic Park area.
Sunday - SeaWorld. Cool weather. 3 shows. Lunch in Mongo Joes.
Monday - Universal Studios. Lunch at Louies Italian.

Tuesday - Aquatica. Lunch at Waterhouse Grill.
Wednesday - Busch Gardens, Tampa.  Lunch at Crowne Plaza.
Thursday - Wet 'n' Wild.
Wet'nWild

Friday - Premium Outlets shopping centre.  Lunch in the food court.
In the evening City Walk to watch Furious 7 & meal at Universal Hard Rock Cafe.

The Worlds Largest!

Saturday - Wet 'n' Wild water park, lunch at IHOP (just across the road).  Universal Mardi Gras to watch All American Rejects perform.
Sunday - Busch Gardens, Tampa
Monday - Florida Mall & Posner Park shopping.
Tuesday - Universal Studios & Islands of adventure AM.  Played ball games in the villa pool.
Wednesday - Check out of villa at 10am and head to the airport ready to catch our flight that afternoon.
Thursday - Arrive back at Heathrow airport at 8am.  Arrive home at 12pm.

Window Seat with Wing View
As you can tell it was non-stop but that is exactly the way we like it!  It did go REALLY fast though.  In the evening we would generally have dinner at the villa, chill in the pool or watch a film after a full on day.  We visited all the Disney parks on a previous trip to Florida so we chose not to do those again this time around.

Hope you found this interesting or indeed useful if you are planning a trip in the future.
